Ten reasons why first or business class is a waste of money.

With great interest I read an article penned by George Hobica over at Fox News on airlines and why first or business class is worth the extra money and though he lists reasons, his own reason is simple. He likes the soft seats.

Now before I go on, let me just say that I'm not trying to be sarcastic or ugly here. I have the greatest respect for any writer that writes for Fox News. I prefer to call this a friendly debate. For this reason, I respectfully put forth my dissenting view.

1. Yes, the seat is more comfortable but so what?

I'm not going to select, and pay for a more expensive, doctor because their waiting room has better seats. Seats are temporary. How many of us go to a football game, or any sports for that matter and sit painfully for hours just to see the game? Granted, we've all wished for more comfortable seating we still go and we still deal with it. Again, it's only temporary.

I'm getting older and my bones do ache at times but plane tickets (and sporting event tickets) are expensive enough. Playing extra for a little more foam simply isn't worth the empty pocket. Besides, when you step off that plane, what do you have to show for it?

Coca-cola alone could embarrass the California government, if they wanted to.

California is well known for being the nanny state. The government there thinks that everyone is stupid and is incapable of making their own decisions in life. Take today's news out of California. Apparently they think citizens are so stupid, that they don't know sugar has extra calories and can make you fat.

No, really. They think you don't know that. Why else would they try to get warning labels that say this very thing on drinks? There is no other explanation. What's next? Fat warning labels? Tooth decay labels? Soon you won't be able to figure out what you're buying because there will be too many stupid labels smacked all over it. No one reads them anyway.

If I were the Coca-cola Company CEO, I should want to teach California a lesson by banning all sales to that state. Think of all that revenue in potential sales taxes that California would lose. Also, what would that do to the California bottled water industry? I can't imagine California without their beloved Dasani! Stores like Cola Corner in Orange, CA would suffer and would require assistance from the government, who in turn would be strapped for money, because of Coke's lack of California sales.

That's just Coca-cola! What if Pepsi followed suit? Then Dr. Pepper? It would be beautiful!

Remember the Amazon vs. California dispute over sales taxes? Their dispute made California beg for mercy, unable to wait to get their hands on those millions of dollars. That is just Amazon! I know a lot of people who have never bought a thing on Amazon, but you can bet your bottom dollar they drink Coke.

As you can see, the people don't have the power anymore, but large corporations do since drooling government officials are dying for a slice of their revenue. Don't kid yourself into thinking the government cares about what you want or your welfare. They are not the least bit concerned about that. It's more about the highest bidder.

It is important that the government does not overreach its limitations. California, like Obama, like to overstep their Constitutional boundaries and it is time that corporations, small businesses and even consumers stand up against strangulation via government regulation.

Liberals are full of hate.

I find it very disheartening when I read all the hate from liberals. They spew all kinds of hatred out at us and why? Because we believe in the freedom of speech? We believe in human rights? We believe in equality? What exactly is it that upsets them?

Let me explain it here clearly. They preach all this "tolerance" but it's all lies. Take Woot for example. There was a poll one day about reading books and I said I was reading the Bible and I quoted a verse from Genesis. Out of nowhere (I've never even heard of this user nor have I ever corresponded with this user), some jerk named dnlkolender sent me a private message (and yes, that was my response, if he can dish it, then he should take it):

So there is no freedom here. I am supposed to think just like dumbass dnlkolender. That's the "tolerance" that you see from liberals. They are only tolerant if it is something that they believe.

Another problem is the 2012 Secession movement. Okay, so a lot of liberals disagreed with those who were angry. The problem is that they were trumpeting how "no one cares." Take this blog post as an example. Notice how they laugh saying no one cared.

The problem is that people did care. The ones who did not were liberals. In the end, liberals are not interested in what the people want. They are interested only in their twisted agendas. They completely ignore what communities desire. It's all about them and never about anyone else.

Liberals are selfish, self serving, lying, cheats. There is simply no other way to describe them. They prove it every single day. Take this dumb ass named Adam Smith who posted this video of himself being so hateful to the Chick-fil-a drive through woman. Those are the kinds of people they are. Oh wait! It was taken down by youtube because he embarrassed the liberal world. Here is a cut version

Then there's the moderator from Chow.com. I got a notice (damn I wish I hadn't deleted that email) that they were deleting a comment I said. The discussion was about wax paper vs. parchment and all I said was that in this economy with a lousy president I couldn't afford parchment anymore. They said that my comment was inappropriate and it would be deleted. Can you believe it? Well I have no proof because I was so incensed that I hit delete and I really wish I could go back now and post a screen cap. Such is life, I suppose.

There are plenty of examples of them out there. Look for them. Hopefully you won't be as disgruntled as I am.
